Lakeland Dairies Milk Intake Extension
THE WORK BEHIND THE PROJECT.
A clear overview of the project scope, delivery approach and final outcome.
A live dairy intake upgrade built for capacity and efficiency
This project involved the completion of a major milk intake extension for Lakeland Dairies, delivered within a fully live operational environment and designed to increase capacity, improve tanker flow and support long-term site performance.
Milk intake extension and capacity upgrade
Construction, systems integration and live-site coordination
Improved intake speed, storage and peak-demand resilience
Tusker delivered the extension within a busy live dairy processing environment, where continuity of operations was critical. The upgrade included new tanker bays, additional storage silos, extensive pipework, enhanced pumping systems and a CIP system designed to support faster and more efficient tanker unloading.
The completed works provide a future-proofed intake facility capable of supporting high-volume tanker movements while improving operational efficiency, storage capacity and long-term site performance.
